+1
I'm guessing that swiper.js is compatible with this framework? It would be nice to have a swipe gallery in the demo

@lordaugustus right, probably will add some simple support, but anyway (as mentioned @criesner) this Swiper lib http://www.idangero.us/sliders/swiper/ will do its job better than any other built-in framework swipe gallery

@criesner of course it is compatible, will do the demo soon

Haven't had a chance to play with this but it looks great so far and swiper compatibility will be extremely helpful. Do you plan to add multi gesture support (pinch, drag, pull, ect)?

nolimits4web avatar nolimits4web commented on May 4, 2024

Not sure about multi gesture, are they required?

from framework7.

criesner avatar criesner commented on May 4, 2024

@nolimits4web I guess they aren't required but my personal usage of this would be for prototyping apps in which case I would love the ability to easily program swipe's, snaps, drags ect

I'm sure you want to keep this very light on the js as it's a mobile plugin, perhaps there could be a heavy version with more app like features such as:

swipe forward/reverse through pages, tabs ect
swipe galleries
select/deslect/drag organize lists
light box gallery
scroll stick scroll lists (like address)
nav/footer hide/show on scroll up/down

These are just things that I could see myself trying to figure out how to code into the framework for different projects. As long as the framework accepts other plugins and custom JS i'm sure it will work much better than the other framework's i've tried to use in the past.

Awesome work so far!
thanks

@criesner i agree to add swiper.js but, multi gesture seems to be kinda trivial for this framework at this stage of its life

Might want to just use hammerjs for now

Ok, i think we can close it now, because F7 already contains powerful Slider component
