Any update of 2020 version?
Hi,
May I suggest a resource for headless CMS: https://buttercms.com/blog/headless-cms-learn-the-what-why-and-how
This informative guide teaches you what, why, and how to use a headless CMS; the advantages of headless CMS over a traditional CMS, and more.
Best,
Derek
Hi,
When I clicked What Is the Internet? Or, 'You Say Tomato, I Say TCP/IP', it redirected to Google's home page.
I don't know if the link is dead or by some other reason.
I think It will be better to add some Coursera resources link. For example for learning react path and etc.
https://frontendmasters.com/books/front-end-handbook/2019/
The link is 404 currently, is it moved?
This is an amazingly detailed article and it would make lovely reading material for hot summer days (the UK weather is getting warm now yay!). There are some things in the print view of the page that don't work particularly well, like the fixed sidebar. We could add a print stylesheet that overrides that, as well as cleans up other parts for readability.
I might come back to this issue with a draft snippet of stuff that I've modified to get things printing the way I want.
The HTTP RFC link is RFC 2616, which has been superseded by the RFC 723x family. Should we mention that? Or maybe only mention the 723x RFCs

I would recommend updating: https://frontendmasters.com/books/front-end-handbook/2019/
Section 2.9 - Front-End Job Boards to include https://www.werkington.com/
Hi,
When I clicked What Is the Internet? Or, 'You Say Tomato, I Say TCP/IP', it redirected to Google's home page.
This link https://frontendmasters.com/books/front-end-handbook/2019/owler.com/articles/serverless.html referred to the line 78 term overloaded
returns a 404
In https://frontendmasters.com/books/front-end-handbook/2019/#6.11 stringjs.com does not exist - redirects to some placeholder page.
Hi! At Brent's suggestion, I'm opening this issue: on my iPhone 6 the book slides around to the left and right as I scroll, and if I zoom out I can see that some content is too wide - long words in the headings, or sections of URLs that don't have dashes where the text would be able to break. This also creates more width for the table in the screenshot below, meaning that it takes up more space than is available on the screen.
My suggest is fix is a broad one but doesn't seem to cause any problems: adding word-break: break-all to the body css rule. I'll submit a PR for this. Thank you for this amazing free resource, I'll be reading it myself but also sharing it with folks I know who are newer to programming.
Worth mentioning

Some already use it

Microsoft shipped their first version

front-end-handbook-2019/open-in-web-browser.html
Line 2538 in 6a9b993
Link doesn't work for me:
In line 82 of open-in-browser.html, the sentence starting with "But React remains dominate..." should probably read "But React remains dominant..."
Please upload to gitbook, or can you upload .mobi filetype. In epub version images are not there also. I wanna this for kindle.
Thanks!
It would be great to have a pdf version of the ebook.
Any ETA for 2020 version?
You list headless browsers but omit puppeteer, a node-driven headless chrome. Great for testing!
Hi there,
may I suggest one resource for accessibility: The AcceDe Web guides https://www.accede-web.com/en/ ?
This is a fantastic resource and very practical to learn accessibility.
Cheers,
Nicolas
The link to https://frontendmasters.com/books/front-end-handbook/2019/ no longer works.
Hi there! I wanted to share an article outlining all the details of Headless CMSs. I thought it would be a good additional resource for the handbook since it covers things like:
