💫 About Me:

I’m Nate Stott, a Computer Science senior at Utah State University, set to graduate in December 2024. My academic and professional journey has been shaped by a blend of rigorous coursework, impactful research, and practical experience.

Currently, I’m immersed in Dr. Mario’s Direct Lab, focusing on robots and systems intelligence. My work involves upgrading electric bus infrastructure, leveraging advanced technologies to improve system efficiency and functionality. This role allows me to explore the practical applications of robotics and intelligent systems in a dynamic research environment.

In a previous role, I collaborated with Vicki Allan and Ha Nguyen on a project to enhance coding education through artificial intelligence. This experience deepened my understanding of AI and its potential to transform learning experiences.

My internship at iFIT was particularly formative, teaching me how to navigate a formal software team setting. I developed user-friendly web interfaces and contributed to backend development, all while working within a structured team environment. This experience honed my skills in collaboration, communication, and adherence to industry best practices, preparing me to excel in professional software development settings.
