Back PCB can't mount to front if female headers are added to Pi Zero about kickstarter

Additionally you can use Short Headers

No, short headers turn out not to work (though they're stuck on my zero now). The header pins that come pre-soldered are too long so even with short female headers, a mm or two of pin shows and the zero is moved far enough out that the two PCBs cannot be assembled flush.

My next step will be to gently trim a mm or two of of EACH pin, which is damn tedious when this all could have been avoided.

Did anyone even test this with headers before sending it out to Kickstarter backers or did you just test this by soldering the zero directly to the board?

Found this out too, now I've officially wasted two Pi Zeros by just attempting to replicate the mounting on the advertised product page, or by following @32teeth advices.
