I think it might be worth rendering DevTools on the client only, as indeed some actions don’t make sense on the client, and they won’t always match.

hey, cool thanks for the suggestion. I think that's a good solution, render the Devtools in a different mount-node in development, so it's only rendered client-side and won't interfere with SSR.

ReactDOM.render(<App />, 'root'); // This node will be rendered server-side
ReactDOM.render(<DevTools />, 'dev-tools'); // This node will be not be rendered server-side
