except there is no PyList_Prepend and the alternative (destroying and recreating the path list with the first item being our application path) seems very intrusive and would lead into your module breaking some other module that was trying to use a system module with a name conflict anyway.
IMHO not relaying on the path and loading the modules using their full paths might be a better solution
from monitor-core.
