Gon not accessible in application controller about gon

I understood what you talking about, but no - now Gon is only request dependent. I think I can make something like not request dependent hash store for global variables - it's a good idea. But I think there I need new syntax for it. Maybe something like gon.global.variable_name or global_gon. If you want to provide pull request - it will be great, or I'll do it when I have more time)

Hey gazay, no problem. At this point just reverted to using manual for this purpose as I dont have a lot of these variables and I am a bit under time constraint. But if I do end up delving in I will let you know...

In version 3.0.0 I added Gon.global feature which can be reached from anywhere in rails application
