I'm also on windows 7 - I was able to install libpq and get through that part of the install, but then it just dies with no real explanation in any logs, etc.

If I try to build from source with rake, I get

"It seems you don't have the build task directory. Shall I fetch it for you?"

if I accept, it tries to pull something from http://repo.deviate.org which seems to just be a parked domain now

Is there anythign I can do?

The repo should be http://repo.deveiate.org/. (I.e., deveiate instead of deviate), but I gather it didn't pull the directory down for you?

I'll be releasing 0.11.0 later today, which will include a Windows binary gem, so perhaps that'll make this problem moot.

Putting this on hold; if no one responds within a few week, I'll assume it's fixed in 0.11 and close it.
