I worked a little on this with @stoiver and would like to see this happen. Where do I begin? Should I get the code from the old subversion repository and import it into git? Should the old history be kept, or should we start from scratch?

The most up to date 1d code is in old subversion repository, https://anuga.anu.edu.au/svn/anuga/trunk/anuga_1d_core/

I think it would be best to import that repository into git. I think it would be fine just start from scratch.

Okay. I have it and will start a branch in my git repo and get to work!

Hello, is Integrate 1d pipe flow with anuga 2d finished yet, I took a look at your anuga_1d_core and there seems to be some errors in the code, I don't know if you have updated it. Thank you very much.@stoiver

Hi @4secret, the anuga_1d_core code is quite old and hasn't been worked on for some time.

More recently we have been working on coupling ANUGA with pipe network packages such as SWMM (via pyswmm https://www.pyswmm.org/) and pipedream https://github.com/mdbartos/pipedream

We have been having some problems with SWMM with loss of water. pipedream seems better in this regard.

Some code showing how to couple both pyswmm and pipedream can be found in the repository https://github.com/stoiver/anuga_drainage .

The most recent code is in the develop branch, where structure has been reorganised to make the code into a python module.

Happy to give advice on using either pyswmm or pipedream, but must admit I am currently focusing on developing a gpu version of ANUGA so am strapped for time.

By the way, for the most recent development of ANUGA checkout the repository https://github.com/anuga-community/anuga_core in particular the develop branch.

Professor, thank you very much for some of the work you have done, which has been very helpful to me in my research and in the work I do.
