I have the same problem , it cost so many hours!!!
from pykrige.
I suspect this has to do with the version on PyPI being outdated (compared to the current version here). I am going to update PyPI in the next few days, so then you'll be able to use pip...

Thanks,
I just replaced all the files in the site-package folder and the example seemed to work fine. I was not sure how to "install" it without pip on windows.
Best,
Austin.

Hi, I have the same problem with anaconda. I see that all the files on pykrige do not exit in my site-packages. For instance, I do not have rk.py.
I tried to manually copy and replace the files, but I still cant get rid of the error.
What can i do?

@mariosgeo I'd go with a pip installation, maybe install pip within conda, and then use pip to install the latest version on this repository
from pykrige.
If you use anaconda the easiest, now that 1.4.0 is released, is to uninstall your current version with pip,
pip uninstall pykrige
then install the latest v1.4.0 from the conda forge channel (see readme).
Alternatively, you could just update it with pip inside conda as suggested above.
Closing, please comment if you still experience issues.
