This would be a great feature for datasets that we're interested in using DKAN with. As I understand it now, there are some options to use Views (perhaps with exposed filters?) to work with aggregate data (per https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!topic/dkan-dev/_eGuvYAmJwg), but it'd be all the better if this could be done in the "Explore Data" mode.

I also would love to see pivot tables in DKAN. Thanks for considering it!

A note to catch up on what the state of the art in the CKAN / frictionless-data world is around this stuff. It looks like there is not much momentum around support for this in recline and I'm not sure it would be worth the effort to build.
