Email Configuration on GKE about contrib-helm-chart

@gabrielmv the port is outgoing, so I don't think we can add to the chart (these are to accept incoming connections).
Port 465 should be open by default - https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/tutorials/sending-mail/

Do you get an error when trying to send an email? Maybe GKE blocks access to port 465? Most cloud providers block access to standard SMTP ports and most mail sending services provide alternative ports.

I got no error inside redash and I couldn't find nothing in the GKE logs.

Probably GKE is blocking the port like you said.

I believe that to open the port should be in the helm chart, this way GKE opens the port automatically

Finally got around to double checking this, and can confirm that Mailgun on GKE works with the following config:

  mailServer: smtp.mailgun.org
  mailPort: 587
  mailUseTls: true
  mailUsername: <fill>
  mailPassword: <fill>
  mailDefaultSender: <fill>

Do not set UseSsl with this port config though, since that tries to initiate SSL wrapped smtp resulting in "wrong version number".
