But the name doesn't seem to matter.

I just installed the latest build of GeyserMC master, with support for 1.20.80, and the issue is still not resolved.

Geyser isn't the party that should kick for a different username, that would be the server - the only thing Geyser has to do would be to properly forward the kick & kick message to the recipient (i.e. Bedrock player)
