It works for me.

Please try gh > delete cache. If this does not help, go to https://github.com/settings/applications, revoke the alfred-github-workflow, (maybe delete the workflow cache again,) and relogin the workflow.

Hm, tried that.

I think it may be because I'm trying to access private repos that I'm apart of, but are not mine (they are another organization's private repo, but I am a member). Do you think that could be it?

gharlan avatar gharlan commented on July 4, 2024

Are you watching or starring the repo?
Otherwise the repo is not included. I will try to fix this.

@gharlan I feel like this is a regression, because I know it used to work. I'm trying to access repos that I'm a part of as well (because I'm in the organization that owns them), and I'm automatically watching them. I've not starred any of them though, but starring them doesn't seem to make any difference, either.

I tried logging out / revoking / clearing cache / logging back in, to no avail.

Hmm, as said, it works for me. I can see private repos of organizations where I'm a member but not the owner. Only if I unwatch the repo it is not included any more.

Are you watching more than 100 repos? At the moment the workflow is loading only the first 100 repos of each list (owning, watching, starring). I'm working on this (api pagination).

davewhitley avatar davewhitley commented on July 4, 2024

Tried watching a private repo, but still doesn't show up in the list. I tried to revoke, then log in again — still nothing.

As a side note, I'd like the repo to show up, even if I'm not watching them. I don't like to get notifications for all activity in the repo.

Also, this is a really great workflow overall — thanks a bunch for making it.

I really +1 this
I just started to use alfred basically because of we have 100+ company repos. I won't watch this many repos, and i really want them to include
this would be the whole purpose of this workflow to enter quickly to a repo if you have many

I can't seem to reliably reproduce. Some private repos (in the same group) are pulled up by the workflow and some aren't, regardless of the Watch state.

Previously, I was able to pull up a private repo, and then I updated and cleared the cache. Now that private repo is not shown anymore.

+1 from me too. I'm in the same situation as @drw158 (starring doesn't work and I don't want to have to watch every repo that I'm participating in)
I've tried @gharlan s instructions - no joy.
It would be brilliant to see this functionality return - I really miss it.

Woohoo! After a re-install of this workflow, this bug is definitely fixed. Thanks, @gharlan!

@gharlan Spoke too soon - I can see a load of repos from my company but not all of them - if I star or watch they appear. (I've revoked the authorisation, deleted and re-installed the workflow and deleted the cache in-between each test).

I found a bug in the background caching process. Sometimes the api was called without authorization. So maybe this bug is fixed now. Please update (gh > update) and check again if any repos are missing.

forgethisname avatar forgethisname commented on July 4, 2024

I've updated and tested again (after clearing cache, logging out, revoking access, logging back in again) and it still doesn't work for me. I still see only some of my organisation repos - actually I counted 103 repos.

Found another bug with api pagination. Please give it a try again.
