In the patch the <toContextPath> element is added.  

I was thinking it might be better to add a "crosscontext" attribute to the <to>
element.  Any comments?

Hi Paul,

Yes, a "crosscontext" attribute would also work for me.

Or you could name it "context". If "context" is present, then it is a 
cross-context.
Otherwise, the <to> element refers to the same context.

Hi,

Patch applied, plus a few other changes and tweaks.  I went with a "context" 
attribute.

I have a similar need for cross-context forwarding. Will it work if I use the 
current beta version of URLRewriteFilter 3.2.0? KIndly reply as early as 
possible
