This is by design. Since the google search returns at most 10 results on the page you will not receive any answers beyond -p10. I also find it more useful to return the last answer rather than an error message.
We could go on to the next page but if you haven't found what you're looking for in 10 answers it is probably a good indication that you should rework the query.
