I'd initially seen a 404 issue, but then realised that this was due to misconfiguration at my end. You'll need to add your GoCD instance as an OAuth application on Github first, not within GoCD. I also set up a personal Github token with the appropriate permissions. Then, I'd entered the Github OAuth credentials, and the token into the plugin's settings.
