Dosis - Missing parts of characters about fonts

That is very odd. I am triaging a backlog of ancient bugs logged internally at Google and in 2019 a user wrote,

I've been using the Dosis font for a long time and I have not had any problems early on. Last month I was changing the notebook on the Windows operating system and it turned out that in programs from Microsoft (Offce, Paint) the Dosis font does not display in all styles, it shows only in one style option, despite installing all styles in the "fonts" folder. I will mention that earlier on the old notebook also Windows and Office were installed and the font had all styles. What can I do to use this font properly in these programs. Non-Microsoft programs support this font correctly.

@m4rc1e I suggest we add this to your queue for a deeper investigation into what weirdness lurks in this font, and to describe FB checks to detect and find/prevent it in other fonts :)
