The zip file only contains the "acttion" icons. Its missing all other icons. about material-design-icons

Oddness! I've just downloaded from the source above, but am also getting the same thing... Archive downloaded is 56.5MB, but unzipped is much less...

Weird! We generated the zip from the GitHub releases page and uploaded to the releases from there. Let me test if this is a Windows related issue.

It is not a windows related issue. I had it on a mac. I did use Chrome browser however. So it might use the SPDY protocol, which might cause the problem? Or a CDN issue?

I just downloaded the .zip again, on a different mac computer using chrome. And this time, i am seeing all results.

Hmmm... Just tried downloading onto the same machine but with both FF33 and IE11 (used Chrome 38 before) and still get same result... Haven't got access to another machine at the mo...

7zip found all the files while the windows zip extractor didn't:

While extracting with 7zip a "system error" occurred (maybe something was not able to handle the file count or whatever).

I used node.js installation instead.

Thanks @Rillke! Just what I needed! Tried WinRAR instead of Windows' native zipping tool, and everything is now extracting as it should... Many thanks! :)

@addyosmani Do we have a contact at GitHub to see if this is a known issue? Seems like it could be related to the way they zip files?

I had the same problem. Using 7-Zip did the trick for me.

If you don't have access to install 7-zip or some other utility, but you have Java on your PC, you can unzip the archive with this command:

jar xvf material-design-icons-master.zip

It was able to extract the complete zip file.

One other alternative for folks, give this link a try, which is our mirror of the assets over on the Material Design spec

Let me know if you experience the same issues downloading from there.
