Thanks for the description.
FYI you can order the "current" playlist without creating a saved playlist. Just drag and drop songs.
The fact that the song are not imported in the correct order is a bug with Google Drive I have sent that bug report to the Google Drive team.

About the error when you create a play list, could you give me more details as I've never been able to replicate this myself? Could you please tell me what browser you are using on what environment?
Also could you copy paste any any errors in the Javascript error console pease?

Thanks!

Hello Nicolas,
I have found my problem:
I have selected too many files from different (sub-)folders, so it did not
end to load the mp3 files into the list.

I do the following:

  1. Open one MP3 file from one (sub-)folder where I have read access to with
    Google Player
  2. Open this file with "Music Player for Google Drive" and press STOP
  3. Add further files:

Now a list of all available mp3 files appear:

There are many mp3 files in this list but they are from different
(sub-)folders and in this view you can't see it (means that you can't see
that they are from different sub-folders). It would also not help to open
MyDrive, because it is not in MyDrive, it is from a link to a foreign
Google Drive account where I have read access to.

In this view you can only:

  • sort by Last Modified (only descending)
  • sort by Name
  • sort by Owner

--> OK, I know, the files must have prefix: 2014-10-12,
so I add "2014-10-12*" in the search field.
Now I get all elements with this prefix.

The problem is, that I now cannot sort by Name any more. And sorting by
"Last Modified" does not help because only descending sort order is
possible.
So, I have to mark the files one-by-one, beginning at the bottom (because
at the bottom are the first recorded files and at the top the last ones)
and then press "Select".

THEN IT WORKED!

*If you could improve sorting and selecting files... *
Thank you!

Anyway: I like the player. Good Work!
