Cool. I use the URL and the "(bw)" marks with task list to help me visually distinguish between what is a bugwarrior task and what is not. I use the bit.ly links frequently to jump to the source of the issue.

I'm not opposed to using UDAs, but I'd like to keep the default task list output unchanged.

Perhaps we could let the user configure a format_string that specifies how to render an upstream task into a description. That string could default to the format we use now so that long-time bugwarrior users won't notice a difference, but people who want to can trim the clutter from their task list.

How does that sound?
