That's a pretty good callout. I didn't even notice it was archived. I agree that Jeff Geerling's roles are usually pretty good.
I don't maintain this repository anymore, so one of the Graylog folks will have to pick this up. If anyone out there wants to submit a PR, I'm sure it would be much appreciated!

I can update used roles replace your custom mongo role with community one. But, as I assume by other PRs, you don't maintain the repo anymore
