Looks like it, which distro and how did you install the standalone service? Did you setup the share permissions correctly on your NFS export? Did you provision the kodi user with the files in this git repo?

Can kodi:kodi read and enter directories on /mnt/nas/transmission? Post ls -lh /mnt/nas/transmission

graysky2 avatar graysky2 commented on May 18, 2024

If the kodi user can read it there should not be an issue. Post the ls command I asked about above.

Michal-Szczepaniak avatar Michal-Szczepaniak commented on May 18, 2024

No no you don't follow. If i mount the share as root, there's no issue, but if you go into kodi and try to add nfs share, not the directory where nfs is mounted, the nfs share, then kodi tries to mount it and fails as per log

from kodi-standalone-service.

graysky2 avatar graysky2 commented on May 18, 2024

I don't think your issue is related to the systemd service. Try posting to the kodi forums and include a debug log per their policy. Reopen if you find that my stuff is to blame.
