How do I start developing code with you guys? about grbl

I implemented M80 to turn on steppers, M81 to turn them off, sleep mode takes priority after next move.

I think the best thing is to fork grbl using a public repo on github. If you take care and add each of your features as a clean patch it will be easy for us to exchange code between the projects by pullig from each others patches. Read through the github bootcamp and feel free to ask more questions: http://help.github.com/

I'll also suggest you apply your work to the edge version of grbl. I think it i fairly stable now and contains a number of important improvements that soon will me merged into master.

I figured out how to set up git on my computer and have a fork now off of this project. I am calling mine LCGCi. The readme explains my goals and a bit about how I will work that. I am going to try to put in a pull request for you to pull up/review my changes. I think most of them will be very helpful for CNC in general. I think it would be good to do that now b/4 I start making to many laser specific changes.
