Hi @zanete, this issue was just to create/set up the domain that the project team could use to host the website they plan to build.
But great news Osama will be able to support with the build.
I'll speak with the team and come back to you with the answers.

@osamajandali - it's being built currently. Once I have the link, I'll send it to you for rerouting. Thanks

@Sophietn it's not really clear to me from the description what it is that should be done. We understand that the repo exists but for the website there are a few questions:

  • what should be the contents of this website? We're assuming that it should take the repo's readme.md and make that into a website?
  • is it expected that there is a design for this site or just plain text
  • should there be a navigation of some sort / footer links?
  • is there a logo for the project and if so where could it be found?
  • Also is it ok, that the website code lives on the same repo but in a different branch?

Thanks so much

@Sophietn thanks very much for clarifying. I'm not sure Osama will be able to support with the build, is this an Exec project that should get the core team's resources this way?

@zanete no this is a WG project. The project team are happy to build the wesbite themselves.
They'd just like to host their website on the domain awesome.greensoftware.foundation - which is where we need @osamajandali's help. Thanks

@Sophietn Is there a website ready made so I can point the domain to? I can also set the domain to point to the repo itself for the time being

@russelltrow hey, with Sophie's departure, have you any pointers for us re: where to follow up on this? ☝
