Yep, I can repro this.
Yes, it seems to be provide
-related, in the sense that it works fine within the same TR file. e.g.:
#lang typed/racket
(define (sum [x : Integer] [y : Integer])
(+ x y))
(sum 1 2)
If I put point on the call to sum
and hit M-.
, it does jump to the definition of sum
just fine.
However when sum
is defined in some other file, provide
d, and require
d, then we don't find the definition site. This is true when the requiring/calling file is either #lang racket
or #lang typed/racket
-- either way, it doesn't work.
And yet for non-TR code it is able to find the definition of provided and renamed and/or contracted functions just fine.

So I have fix on a topic branch, not yet merged to master. As the commit message says, this feels ad hoc. However it works in the examples I've tried so far. I'm going to mull this over before merging to master. (It's probably too much of a bother for you to get the topic branch and try it on your end, but if you did have time to do that, and let me know what you think, that would be great.)
