Thanks for the catch. I've released a version 1.0.3. 2d1a819

I replicated the problem and verified the fix on my end on Win 7; let me know if it doesn't solve it for you.

hi Greg,

Thanks for your response and the great hoxy -- i really like it!

I ended up running it in a ubuntu vm so far. I just tried the latest pull
from github. I did the pull in Windows 7 to an ntfs drive and ran "npm
install" blah blah. Then i run my proxy fine from those windows files but
through ubuntu with a samba share. Works great! Then to test your changes
I simply try to run the proxy directly on the Windows system, and nada -
nothing. Waah?? I would have thought the roundabout ubuntu approach would
screw up rather than the direct windows approach. Maybe I will discover
some oversight later, but for now i am happily running through ubuntu.

Thanks!!
Kendal

Oh, PS: I really missed no https. I ended up hacking at the code for a
while trying to get it to work, but had to pass.

My desire has been to filter google searches which are https. I finally
discovered a way to do http searches and that was enough for me and I
abandoned my hacking hoxy and just started using it as intended.

Horray!

Thanks Kendal! When you say nothing happened while running on Windows, was there an error message? Or does the proxy run fine, but nothing seems to happen? Is this still with that same sample code? I'll try more tests on Windows but the more info you can provide, the better.

Hi Greg,

I got time to retest this morning. Everything seems cleaned up on the
Windows side. I don't know what the problem was yesterday, but all is good
today. Thanks for your diligence with this!
