Redirect grml homepage to HTTPS

grml.org supports proper HTTPS but does not use it by default. Please redirect to it by default and consider using HSTS at least for the main page to make sure it is always used.

website scrolling dose not work on its own system

hi there. lookes like your fork button is transparently above your scroll bar, please fix that, make it smaller or below the text area. A gif says more then a thousend words:

unlinked donations page

There is a http://grml.org/donations/ page, but not linked from the home page or the sponsors page.

(There is also a /tips page which links there, but itself is unlinked.)

Suggestion:
Either
a) link "donate" to index and sponsor page
or
b) remove it completely and add an answer to the FAQ about why you aren't having it.

Note that there are increasingly more people and companies volunteeringly paying for Free Software.

arch package grml-zsh-config is a dead link

Proper link target were https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/grml-zsh-config/

The current grml-zsh-refcard was generated on 2016-01-25.

At least the keybinding for inserting a timestamp on the command line is out of date (because of grml/grml-etc-core#62, where the keybinding was changed to CTRL-x d).

serve deb.grml.org over HTTPS

it would be nice if the debian archive would be available over HTTPS. it would allow users to escape certain active attacks that could occur when they bootstrap the OpenPGP trust anchors for SecureApt on first setup, for example.

ideally, like the main website (#9), HTTP would be redirected to HTTPS as well.

for reference, apt-transport-https is available in Debian since wheezy.

grml.org responds to ping and listens on port 22.
However, the web server seems to be down.

TLS certificate expired

Accessing https://grml.org/ yields an error, because your certificate is only valid until 19.12.2014

Update grml-debootstrap(8)

http://grml.org/grml-debootstrap/ is out of date. Please update that page.

Web server is unavailable

Can't reach the website and test tools on web showing it is not just me.
