Pre-work Checklist: Developer: Nayan Bhatt about website

I've not been able to locally to build and serve the website locally as mentioned in the Contributing.md heading 1.6, while using the docker-compose up command I'm getting an error

First I tried looking for the solution here, as mentioned here I looked for my UID and it was already 1000

Following up I found another solution here, and found that the file permissions need to be changed and tried to change the file permissions for docker-compose.yml and _config.yml, but the error is still there.......

Question: In the log I noticed this

/usr/local/lib/ruby/2.7.0/fileutils.rb:250:in `mkdir': Permission denied @ dir_s_mkdir - /srv/jekyll/_site (Errno::EACCES)

and checked for the /usr/local/lib which don't have any ruby folder, is this causing the issue???? Do I have to install Ruby on my local machine........

Point to be noted: I'm using an Ubuntu machine

How many hours did it take you to finish the pre-work up to and including adding your initial ETA and availability for your good first issue, including attending your first meetings?

Answer : It's been 2 days and I'm stuck with the above mentioned issue, but I skipped it and move forward!!
