We've identified the problem: we borrow some code from git, and that code doesn't handle .git directory well. There is also a bug in the sync algorithm when handling commit failure.

We'll ignore .git directory. This problem will be fixed soon.

Thank you for your quick response!
Do you want to ignore .git directories at all in future? Or do you plan to fix the code to sync them properly?

Would be great to have sync of git repositories in future because I currently use Dropbox to have some kind of a backup for all my files including my local git repositories and I'm planning to replace Dropbox with Seafile.

OK. We'll fix the code to handle .git directories properly.

Fixed. This would be included in the next bug-fix version.
