Now how about chromium(sth without flash support)? Also works.

right now things do not work for IE, but for Windows+firefox its ok
and on ipad, the full screen icon does not show up

You can actually get "play/pause" by right click on the video, and you can also "show control" to see the progress of download, it's from html5 video tag I believe.

jplayer has "download progress" shown in progress bar, it's just not so distinctive

We can divide a video into several Chapters, list Chapter title in Shownotes, link each of them to a proper timepoint in the video: http://videojs.com/docs/tracks/

jplayer does not do full screen well, it looks worse on ipad in full-screen.

So Videojs is preferred.
