Clip figures could have a minimum width in both seconds and pixels (and this might best be accomplished by limiting the width in seconds and the the plot scale in seconds per pixel), and for clip plotting to take this into consideration. The clip plotting code currently assumes that the width of the clip figure in seconds is equal to the clip duration, an assumption that will be violated if the clip figure width can be larger than the clip duration.
