it is not the same fix, nor an issue the add-on can do anything about.
Please report your issue upstream.

If you have issues with Home Assistant OS, please report it with the Home Assistant OS project.
There is nothing from an add-on perspective I can do about it.

I got a similar issue after haos 10.0.rc2, I had to rollback to haos 9.5.

I had another add-on issue maybe unrelated with NodeRed - Out of Memory.
hassio-addons/addon-node-red#1562

Could it be the same fix ?

FWIW, I've been able to reproduce this on a 1GB virtual machine installation on HAOS 10.0.rc2:

ERROR: ll_alloc: Cannot allocate 1610612799 bytes of memory (of type "port_tab").

ERROR: arch: "x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"

So it seems EMQX is trying to allocate 1.6GB of memory on HAOS 10.0.rc2. That is what we have seen with different add-ons as well, see home-assistant/operating-system#2438.

More information since my last update:

EMQX is working with 10.0.rc2, I was able to apply the temporary workaround (applied at each reboot of host) you suggested on another post :
sysctl -w vm.overcommit_memory=1

I am receiving multiple messages in the logs:
