As an alternative, we would suggest configuring an NTP server for iLO.

Sorry for the slow reply. I have talked with someone on the BIOS team who confirmed that changing the Bios date/time has not been added to the REST API mainly due to the fact that changing bios settings requires a reboot, which will make the set time inaccurate from the start.
