Inactive state is not applied to series with showInLegend set to false about highcharts

I checked your demo up, seems like linkedTo: ':previous' acts fine, but linkedTo: 'China' or showInLegend: false will prevent the second and third series from entering inactive state when hovering other items in the legend area.

The linkedTo option is working correctly, you are trying to link series by name, but you should do it by id - just like it is said in our API docs: https://api.highcharts.com/highcharts/series.line.linkedTo Here's the simplified demo of linkedTo option: https://jsfiddle.net/BlackLabel/zmacfu8t/

But with showInLegend indeed there are some problems. Inactive state is not applied to series with showInLegend set to false.

I've prepared a workaround for that issue. If you want to use it in your project simply copy-paste the IIFE function with plugin from the below demo.
