I need a Gantt which is able to dynamically show shorter and longer timespans depending on the data. Mostly it works well, as it automatically selects for example weeks to lower axis and months to upper axis (or months + years combination in other case). The problem occurs when the timespan is very long and it selects years for the lower axis. I'm not sure what's the logic for the upper axis then - are they decades or something?
I'm not able to hard-code the tickInterval or hide the other axis because then the x-axis wouldn't be suitable for all different kinds of datasets.
Strangely, when the chart height is not explicitly specified, the upper axis label is aligned differently: https://jsfiddle.net/jr4qpgda/

Hi @ollivihervuori!
Thank you for contacting us! I don't know if this should be classified as a bug, at least not with the alignment.
Could you please explain why would you use multiple axes with this configuration?
What should the top one represent?
Isn't it better if for example years and months -demo?
from highcharts.
The biggest available unit is one year but I get your point- the upper axis should not have a bigger unit than the bottom one.
