Unfortunately, PhantomJS has been deprecated for a few years now (https://phantomjs.org/) and is not officially supported or maintained. There are still many bugs to this solution which will not be solved and thus, the Export Server versions < 3 are deprecated accordingly and are not officially supported or maintained.
PhantomJS also does not work with the latest versions of Highcharts as Highcharts in 10.3.3 moved to newer versions of ECMA Script and dropped support for old IE browsers.
I'd recommend you check out our latest version of the Export Server which is available here: https://github.com/highcharts/node-export-server
In the readme you have a full setup guide.
If you have any problems with the latest versions, feel free to open issues on the Export Server repository where we investigate all the issues and try to solve them within the upcoming versions.
