After installing fresh 1.0.15 image, can't install plugins about homebridge-raspbian-image

FWIW... Just went through the exact same steps but with the 1.0.14 image and plugins are installing OK.

How long did you wait? Your logs show the action still in progress - you need to let it finish for an error message to display.

If you've closed the modal and tried to install several times without letting the previous job finished; you may have made the problem worse. Reboot your entire Raspberry Pi, install the plugin again, but wait for the job to complete so any errors can be shown.

Of course. I waited several minutes and nothing moved... Did this twice.

To be clear, I specifically wanted to avoid the issue you're evoking, because earlier I had launched multiple installations, then ran impatient, etc... and tried to recover but couldn't, even after multiple reboots.
Suspecting I had messed it up as you described, and wanting to rule that out, I reinstalled a clean 1.0.15, installed one plug-in, and it got stuck. I tried a few things, and couldn't get installs to work, but before I filed a bug I wanted to make sure I had a very clean situation reproducible in as few steps as possible, so I did another wipe, installed 1.0.15, triggered a plugin install and it got stuck right at the beginning as you see. Nothing moving at all, and I waited for several minutes. I have fast broadband and a fast WiFi network; also, when I went through the exact same steps using a 1.0.14 image, things went smoothly and the plugin install proceeded normally.

1.0.15 is no longer the current release.

v1.0.16 has had ~2,000 downloads without any reports so i think it's safe to close this.
