You should login via the web interface on another computer / device using admin/admin. This image is intended for a headless setup - meaning there isn't much to see when connecting a monitor.

See step 4 of the getting started guide:

Go to http://192.168.178.35 and you will see the Homebridge UI.


The console login (the screen you photographed) should accept pi/raspberry as will connecting via SSH.

thanks for Info. I know this and have access via a browser http://homebridge.local/ from another device . but how can I change that. I want to used both access possibilities

  1. access via the raspberry pi
  2. access via another computer

so I need an answer, what can I do, that the Pi starts without this password. because I enter a password in the homebridge browser interface.

If you want a full desktop GUI on the Raspberry Pi you'd be better off installing the full Raspberry Pi OS and installing Homebridge on top of that using these instructions:
