Hi @luc-ass,
Thanks for your suggestion. One of the main goals for this image is to keep it as similar to a vanilla install of Raspbian as possible.
By doing this users are able to follow the thousands of guides and tutorials related to Raspbian that are already out there to do whatever it is they may want to do.
As Raspbian doesn't ship with a firewall (and neither does Ubuntu or Debian) I'm happy for it to be a user choice to install one if they feel the need.
