The method implements marginalization across a series of models to represent stochastic models for observatory and instrument systematics. This is primarily for HST WFC3, however, may be extended to STIS in the future.

hst_wfc3_uvis_g280_sim

This simulator will use the output tables from the HST WFC3 UVIS spectroscopic stare mode ETC and calculate the expected transit/eclipse precision for the instrument. This is then compared to the published G280 spectroscopic data presented in Wakeford et al. (2020).
