HTTPie CLI: human-friendly HTTP client for the API era

HTTPie (pronounced aitch-tee-tee-pie) is a command-line HTTP client. Its goal is to make CLI interaction with web services as human-friendly as possible. HTTPie is designed for testing, debugging, and generally interacting with APIs & HTTP servers. The http & https commands allow for creating and sending arbitrary HTTP requests. They use simple and natural syntax and provide formatted and colorized output.

Hello World:

Custom HTTP method, HTTP headers and JSON data:

Build and print a request without sending it using offline mode:

http --offline pie.dev/post hello=offline

Use GitHub API to post a comment on an Issue with authentication:

httpie-oauth's Issues

3-legged OAuth 1.0A

Seems that this is needed for twitter api requests that need a user context, like the user streaming api - httpie seemed great for that, but without 3-legged oauth, not so much.

We would like to see the release on PyPI to be updated with the pull request that was submitted 3.5 years ago, etc.

Custom Authorization Headers appended to request

Hello, I want to use the httpie oauth plugin with custom Authorization value appended to the auto-generated value; but when I execute the following:

$ http --auth-type=oauth1 --auth='client-key:client-secret' example.org 'Authorization: oauth_token="token" '

The custom value is ignored.
Why this happen?
