Hey @patrickvonplaten,
I was facing issues opening the notebooks and wish to add the binder link to the Readme(s) of subfolders. A config file is needed in each of the subfolders to help binder prepare the environment (example).

Can we have requirements.txt as the config file? Further,

  1. Is it possible to run the notebooks without a GPU to generate the requirements.txt?
  2. Is a separate requirement.txt required for each subfolder or is it better to have global requirements.txt in the repository root?

Thanks

from notebooks.

hey @harshalmittal4,

I was facing issues opening the notebooks and wish to add the binder link to the Readme(s) of subfolders. A config file is needed in each of the subfolders to help binder prepare the environment (example).

Feel free to create a PR with the missing readme.md in the subfolder to make them accessible from Google Colab.

Can we have requirements.txt as the config file? Further,

Not sure why we would need a requirements.txt file, could you explain this?
