gnustep-back icon gnustep-back

gnustep-back is the platform specific interface which allows GNUstep to work on many different graphical environments. All drawing functions and event processing logic are implemented here specific to the target platform. Currently these include Linux, *BSD, Windows and all POSIX compliant operating systems.

gnustep-base icon gnustep-base

The GNUstep Base Library is a library of general-purpose, non-graphical Objective C objects. For example, it includes classes for strings, object collections, byte streams, typed coders, invocations, notifications, notification dispatchers, moments in time, network ports, remote object messaging support (distributed objects), and event loops.

gnustep-gui icon gnustep-gui

The GNUstep gui library is a library of graphical user interface classes written completely in the Objective-C language; the classes are based upon Apple's Cocoa framwork (which came from the OpenStep specification). These classes include graphical objects such as buttons, text fields, popup lists, browser lists, and windows; there are also many associated classes for handling events, colors, fonts, pasteboards and images.

gnustep-portability icon gnustep-portability

Not really a part of GNUstep, but designed to be used with it. It will be pleasant, if at some point in time it is included in official distribution.

gnustep-projectcenter icon gnustep-projectcenter

Project Center is the GNUstep equivalent to Project Builder (later Xcode). This application is used to create and manage projects built using GNUstep.

gnustep-sqlclient icon gnustep-sqlclient

The SQLClient library is designed to provide a simple interface to SQL databases for GNUstep applications. It does not attempt the sort of abstraction provided by the much more sophisticated GDL2 library but rather allows applications to directly execute SQL queries and statements.

shortcut-recorder icon shortcut-recorder

AppKit version of ShortcutRecorder, depends on Carbon only on Mac and only in global-hotkey-related stuff.

sphinxalchemy icon sphinxalchemy

SphinxQL dialect for SQLAlchemy (uses MySQLdb-Python for wire protocol)

tidyx icon tidyx

TidyX header for GCC/Clang with couple of fixes
