As another workaround (which at least allows unmodified bower components to be used) you can install es6-promise v3.0.2 and make sure it's loaded before oidc-client.

Yea, I know there are some issues with the promise implementation being used. I'm swamped, so I'll get top it as soon as I get some time. Sorry.
