Great! I have created 2 pull requests, I would recommend using the one that implements an optional config (/issues/7), to keep OidcClient clean from browser specific code.

Sorry for the unacceptable delay in getting to this. I grabbed this PR (just because it was the first I got to) and it seems to try to solve the same issue as this one.
Arguably it's much simpler; any complaints or will it suffice for you?
