I'm also very interested in the various interesting uses of the Xiaomi AI Glasses, but I haven't found any instructions on how to enable the ADB function on it. In fact, your project was even the top search result for the keyword "Xiaomi AI Glasses" and "ADB". Can you offer some tips on this? This will greatly enhance the usability of this device.
Hi Del, thanks for sharing MigicCube and your blog post about the Xiaomi AI Glasses. They are currently some of the most valuable public references I’ve found on exploring this device.
I’m currently researching whether Xiaomi AI Glasses can be integrated with an external agent system, specifically Hermes, so your work is highly relevant to what I’m trying to do.
May I ask whether you’ve made any further progress since publishing this project, especially regarding:
1. enabling or accessing ADB on the glasses,
2. triggering photo capture and reading images reliably,
3. observing ASR / interaction events from the device,
4. any newer reverse-engineering findings around the companion app, BLE, or protocol side?
Even a brief update like “no further progress”, “requires internal/debug firmware”, or “I moved to another path” would already be very helpful.
Thanks again for sharing your work.
@SuperMaxine Hi, I’m also actively exploring the Xiaomi AI Glasses route recently.
My current goal is to see whether the glasses can be connected to an external agent system, specifically Hermes, so I’m trying to understand the practical paths around ADB access, photo / image extraction, ASR event observation, BLE / companion app reversing, and related control surfaces.
Since you opened this issue earlier, may I ask whether you’ve made any progress on your side? Even a brief update like:
- no further progress,
- found a partial path,
- confirmed some route is blocked,
- or moved to another approach,
would already be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.
