Recently been having a lot of issue with this. Seems to be that Resolve will have a file lock on a proxy file requested for delete and QNAP will still allow the file to be deleted (as far as the user experience is concerned) but the file will still exist on disk. Any attempts to overwite will get a write permission error.
Maybe a better way to handle it is to never attempt overwriting a file and instead always increment the file number. This will take more space over time with junk proxy files, but they should be easily found and deleted with a simple script if necessary. Proxy files are designed to be temporary anyway.

Haven't had this issue in a while. Maybe fixed, but don't remember implementing some incrementing suffix thing for output.
