Well, I have discussed it with MKL-DNN team for a very looooong time, since the beginning of it. oneapi-src/oneDNN#217
Actually, it was us that found zero-batch size tensor cause crash in MKL-DNN. But the fix is hard to accept.
My preference would be patch it until MKL-DNN comes out a solution.

@yinghai zero dim is not supported in ideep and mkldnn so far. should figure out a solution...

I think MKLDNN added support to 0-dim tensor. Closing.
