The implementation uses the long datatype to represent inode numbers. If underflow or overflow occurs, the value wraps and does not provide any notification about it.
The maximum number of objects that can be mapped into the NFSRODS space is 2^64 - 1. Once the limit is reached, operations that involve generating new inode numbers will fail.

Closing because nfs4j requires an interger type. If this becomes a problem, we will open a new issue.
